The Portuguese program at One World Montessori School reflects our belief that second language acquisition, no matter what the language, should begin at an early age. Research supports a positive link between second language proficiency and cognitive academic ability.

The goal of the Portuguese program is to have the children become aware of different language and develop confidence in their ability to learn them.

Classes are taught on Friday mornings starting at 9:00 am by Ms. Amanda, a parent of a One World student.
