Julia Lincycomb is our school's Director. She has worked at Montessori schools for ten years. Ms.Julia received her Professional Administrators National Certification in 2007 before joining with Ms. Debi to establish One World Montessori School. She is in the process of completing her AMI Primary Montessori certification from the Montessori Institute of North Texas.
Ms. Julia was born in Scotland and she spent most of her life living and traveling abroad, cultivating a strong interest in different cultures, beliefs and customs.
Ms. Julia says her favorite part of being around children is making them laugh, and she believes that children have a lot to teach us about life.
Ms. Julia enjoys singing, reading, painting, vegetarian cooking, and traveling.
She lives in North Austin with her husband, Jon, and their three pets.
Ms. Julia is a member of the Association Montessori Internationale.
 

 
 
Debi Brinker is the owner of One World Montessori School, as well as the Primary 1 Lead Teacher. Ms. Debi received her Primary Montessori certification from London in 1997. She received her Professional Administrator's Certification in 2007. Ms. Debi has been an educator for over sixteen years in both public and private schools around the globe, which has aided her as a teacher to develop her own cultural, integrative curriculum.
Ms.Debi says her experiences abroad made her more appreciative of different cultures, while helping to shape her unique teaching style.
When she is not in the classroom, Ms. Debi enjoys gardening, sewing, interior design, and spending time with her two grown daughters. She is also an award-winning artist and writer.
 
                                    
 
 
 
 
Shanna Johnson is our Pre-Primary lead teacher.
After graduating from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor, Ms. Shanna began working at One World Montessori, where she was introduced to the Montessori philosophy, and has come to have a great appreciation for the method. After having her second child, Ms. Shanna returned to One World, and we are thrilled to have her back! Ms. Shanna is Montessori trained, and is working on her full Montessori certification. Ms. Shanna says she loves to watch children grow and learn, especially when it comes to teaching music and art to children. Ms. Shanna lives in Round Rock with her husband, Jolen, their two sons Jaret and Justice, and their dog, Harlequin.
 
 
 
 
 
 
Ashley Yarbrough is the teacher's assistant in the Pre-Primary class.
Ms. Ashley worked in preschools and daycares as an assistant and lead teacher for four years before discovering One World Montessori for her own son, now a One World graduate. After seeing the magic of the Montessori method in action, she joined our community in 2011.
Ms. Ashley is an active member of her church and enjoys singing, dancing, traveling, and watching UT football.
